The short answer
Buy the 5510 instead. AHAM certifies the 5530, 5510 and 5520 with identical numbers: 253 smoke CADR, 392 sq ft, 65 W. All three take Filter Q, and Winix's spec pages list the same app, sensors, fan speeds and 23.5 dB low setting. On October 13, 2026 the 5530 was $219.99 and the 5510 $179.99 at Amazon.com. Average CADR, clean-air-per-watt and the percentile figures are computed by Verified HVAC Data from those published ratings. We publish no star ratings and take no payment for placement. "Not published" means AHAM's record doesn't disclose it — we never fill a spec with a guess.
