If you can spend $19 more, the Winix AT40 cleans a bigger room (410 sq ft), draws 45 W instead of 52.4 W and ships with two years of filters, so it costs less to own over two years ($358 vs $463).

The maker's manual says: “Reset the Check Filter Indicator when: A. [Check Filter icon] lights up. Turn on the air purifier.
